Installing
Download and open the DMG, drag WieldMac.app into Applications, then open it from Applications. Follow the built-in setup guide to choose your activation key and grant permissions.
The public beta is Developer ID signed and notarized by Apple. To revisit the guide, choose Learn Wield from the menu or Studio. Existing settings and permissions are preserved when updating.
Permissions
First-run setup asks for Input Monitoring and Accessibility. Follow the setup guide and macOS prompts to enable them in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
Input Monitoring. Wield uses keyboard input to recognize your activation key and commands.
Accessibility. Wield uses Accessibility access for features such as moving and resizing windows in other apps.
See the privacy information for local storage and network activity.
Compatibility
Requires macOS 13 Ventura or later. The universal app includes Apple Silicon (arm64) and Intel (x86_64) builds.
Runtime acceptance has been checked on macOS 27 with Apple Silicon. Older macOS versions and physical Intel Macs still need beta acceptance testing; the minimum deployment target is not a claim that every supported configuration has been tested.
Support
This is a public beta. Read the build 115 release notes for changes and remaining testing limitations. There isn’t a dedicated public support channel yet.
